HDFM
WHAT IS HDFM?
Humanitarian and Development Foundation for Myanmar (HDFM) is a registered non-profit organization based in the United States.
We are friends from different backgrounds and ages working for one goal: developing Myanmar towards a positive future. Since the military coup of February 1st, 2021, people in Myanmar have suffered from national trauma affecting the whole country with repercussions felt around the world. Our team of volunteers came together with a similar urgency to raise awareness of Myanmar's humanitarian and civil society crisis and to seek donations to help the people's resiliency for present and future needs.
We have been able to support adults and children with immediate needs for food, health care and shelter and counseling for civil servants such as rail workers and teachers, farmers, health care professionals, basic workers, bankers, students and refugees. HDFM will serve as a vehicle for more coordinated action in raising funds and distributing them for the betterment of Myanmar.

MISSION.
To identify and contribute to transparent and effective community services in Myanmar
To provide humanitarian aid to internally displaced people and refugees with food, drinking water, medicine and supplies in coordination with local partners
To contribute to charitable programs which augment basic government education through skill and career development in rural and urban communities
